True nature experience I can really recommend the private 3D2N saltflat tour with GotSaltBolivia and our guide/driver/chef Paul. It was en once in a life time experiance and i must say that Paul was a big part of it. He is a really good guide if youre intressted in photo. I can also recommend to do a private tour - well worth the extra cost. Hope to see you again Paul :)

Got lots of Salt! I would have written this review for Paul himself but I feel Got Salt is what Paul stands for. Right before we planned the tour, Paul was very cordial and quick in responding to the questions, we felt is very important as that sets up the tempo for the tour. We tool the 2 nights 3 days tour which was amazing. Paul again was very friendly and was very passionate about the tours. He explained a lot of things about the geography. I had a lot of issues with the altitude but Paul took care of us really well by adjusting the itinerary. Kudos to Got Salt!

Good tour, but with small flaws First of all, I must say that the 3-day tour itself was well organized, we had everything we needed, food during the tour was plentiful and pretty good. Our driver Orlando was friendly and eager to help us when we needed him to take pictures. We have never had any problems with the car, which is rare for Bolivia. The salt flats were definitely the highlight of the tour, while the lagoons were just ok. The landscape of the national park is beautiful, but very monotonous, so after a couple of hours in a car it seems like you've seen it all. Small things to improve - communication prior to the tour could've been much better. Paul was very difficult to get hold of at times. After failing to get any response to my emails I finally managed to reach him by whatsapp. I understand that things might get busy during the high season, but having someone reply to messages regularly is important. The hotel where we stayed at Uyuni was nice, the room was spacious and comfortable, but the food was a complete miss. Dinner was very poor, there was only one course and it wasn't that big, both of us were left hungry after finishing it. Breakfast was much better except for the fact that milk was spoiled and the hotel staff didn't even care to apologize. Second hotel was very simple and rustic and the door to the room wasn't possible to lock, but in some ways it was actually better than we expected - there was access to electricity in the evening and the beds were quite comfortable and warm during the night. All in all I would recommend Got Salt, as the service they provided to us was generally good, but I really hope that they will improve on the few important matters I mentioned.

Such a fun day! Paul is honestly the best and most interactive tour guide I have ever had! He planned the day perfectly and we could not have had more fun. 4 of us did a Full-Day (including sunset) tour of the Uyuni Salt Flats. Paul is very knowledgeable about the area, knows the best spots to go for photos and is very adaptive to your group’s needs - he goes out of his way to tailor the experience to your group. He was very friendly, speaks great English and has a great sense of humour - he will fit right into your group. He’s also great with photography and drones. The tour is great value for money, and also damn the lunch is delicious. If you are thinking of doing a salt flats tour, definitely go with Got Salt!

Adventurous 3 day-tour We had a great time with Paul Guardia. We discovered Bolivia in 3 days. The first day we saw the Salt flats and Paul provided us with a lunch in the middle of the flats. This was an amazing experience. He made some outstanding pictures and videos and we enjoyed the sunset. The salt hotel we stayed in was very comfortabel. The next day we drove towards Andina Eduardo National Park and observed many flamingos. Stunning vulcano's! We spend the night at 4950 masl. We didn't need it but Paul showed us how to use the oxygen. The third day we saw the colored mountains, lagoons and geysers. Stunning! Paul drove safely, his English is impeccable and he chose locations away from the other tours. We had an amazing trip! Thanks Paul! Some minor remarks: the packing list includes sleeping bags which you don't need. And lags swimwear.

Incredible Experience We had a great time. We saw the salt flats - both dry and wet. We also saw a number of lagoons, flamingoes, mountains, desert... the places we stayed were nice. Paul was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable. He was also very helpful when we weren’t on tour. We ran into issues with our flights and he was amazing and helped us go to town from the airport to get pizza. I’ve already recommended him to friends. Definitely one of the best trips we’ve taken!

3 day 100% salt tour - highlight of Bolivia trip We did the 100% salt tour (3 days, 2 nights) with Paul from GOT Salt Bolivia. The communication before the tour was a bit slow at times, but he was amazing in organizing the tour, flexibly rescheduling different parts to ensure we had the best possible experience, e.g. he switched the order of our planned activities to ensure we were able to see all colored lagoons in the best light despite icy weather conditions, taking care of a very serious food allergy in our private group, providing information and insights into culture, wildlife and nature during the trip and scheduling our activities in a way that we almost always were able to avoid the masses of other tours that travel the salt flats and the Eduardo Avaroa NP. I highly recommend booking with GOT Salt Bolivia, as they will do anything in their power to make your stay unforgettable.

A great tour and guide We had the pleasure of touring parts of Bolivia with Got Salt Tours. We had several great days with Paul, who took us to so many interesting places, culminating in a day in the salt flats. Paul was a great guide, full of interesting information about all the places we visited. He was attentive to all the members of my family. After the tour he helped us get food for the family as the airport didn’t have much. We would highly recommend the 3 day tour with Got Salt and appreciate the personalised attention we received from Paul.
